“The Bill Bryson of folklore.” Me. That’s what I’m calling myself.
I’ve always had a love of fairy tales, fantasy and myth. My novels are based on Greek myths. I believe, as Joseph Campbell said, ‘mythology is the penultimate truth--penultimate because the ultimate cannot be put into words.’
I also love humour writing and have been crafting funny columns since I began my freelance career in 2001.
And so here I have combined the two to create a strange and let’s face it super niche hybrid which I trust will find its weirdos.
